Check out where we’re headed to next…
New Orleans, Louisiana
New Orleans, located in southeastern Louisiana, United States, is known for its distinct French and Spanish Creole architecture, as well as its cross-cultural and multilingual heritage. The city is famous for its lively music scene, particularly jazz, and its annual Mardi Gras celebration. New Orleans is also known for its delicious cuisine, including dishes such as gumbo, beignets, and po-boy sandwiches.
“The Big Easy” city…
Like many others, we may never know how this magical and quirky city got its nickname, but we can easily tell you what keeps bringing us back here. From its world-class live music scene, to its stunning cuisine and hospitable culture, this is the perfect destination for domestic and international travelers alike, looking to see, hear, and taste new experiences with a unique flair found nowhere else.
The city’s history and culture make it a unique and special place and we cannot wait to be headed back there this winter.
Kaua’i is the oldest and northernmost of the main Hawaiian Islands. It is known for its beautiful beaches, lush rainforests, and stunning natural landscapes. The island is home to the Waimea Canyon, which is often referred to as the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific.” Kaua’i is also home to the Na Pali Coast, a rugged and picturesque coastline with beautiful beaches, cliffs, and valleys. The island’s rich culture and stunning natural beauty make it a unique and special place to visit.
“The Garden Isle“
Maui— Oahu— the Big Island… if you’ve spent more than 5 minutes perusing through our past adventures, you probably already know that we are in LOVE with all things Hawaii (hot take… I know). Well, for reasons—ahem, a global pandemic—our previous plans for visiting this island have been thwarted.
But (fingers-crossed) not this year! We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate Hawaii’s rich and ancient culture than by visiting the state’s oldest island. Our cameras (and snorkeling gear) are about to be workin’ overtime!
Do you have a local business in Kaua’i that we should check out? Do you have some great recommendations from your past trip(s) there? Drop us a comment— we’d love to hear your recommendations.
Scotland is a country located in the northern part of the United Kingdom, known for its stunning landscapes, including the rugged Highlands and the beautiful islands off the coast. It has a rich history and cultural traditions, including whisky distilling, kilts, and bagpipes. The country is also home to a number of important cultural and historical sites, including Edinburgh Castle and the Isle of Skye.
The Isle of Skye, the Harry Potter train (pictured above), real life reindeer… these are just some of the many things we’re excited to see and experience during our trip to Scotland.
We love visiting destinations with rich culture, stunning landscapes, and a thriving arts and music scene. Scotland definitely checks off all those boxes and more.
Do we love Scotland? Kilt-y as charged!

We’re headed to Quebec this summer for a very special reason…
Safari Condo, the Canadian based and family-owned manufacturer of our impossibly cool Alto trailers, will be hosting their 25th anniversary celebration in the neighboring town of Ste-Marie-de-Beauce, QC— and we’re going to attend the festivities!
In the wake of the global-pandemic, our lives were immeasurably changed as we transitioned from globe-trotting— to living part-time out of a 100 square-foot aluminum trailer, traveling from one National Park to another, discovering the incomparable beauty that North America has to offer.
A huge part of that transformation story involves the countless friendly and compassionate RVers that also consider themselves members of the Alto family. This community’s collective talent, camaraderie, and kindness are a rarity in this world, and we’re exciting to spend the weekend with friends and the amazing staff at Safari Condo.
